Welcome to the Potterat’s at Cully

In the heart of Cully, our family is driven by our passion for vines and wines. Sheltered by the stones of our 600 year old cellar, the press and barrels are true witnesses of our history.

In this authentic cellar, wines are patiently matured. Bound to the land, Guillaume Potterat contributes to the evolution of a historical know-how by perpetuating the Chasselas culture.

As independent winegrowers and makers, we like to share our passion for wines.

Our driving values

We pay a specific attention to the vine, which is cultivated in respect for our environment. To ensure the best quality, the grapes are picked and assessed by hand.

Then, since 1881, our manual press, symbolised by the three segments around our logo, enables us to delicately press the grapes of the year. Lastly, we nurture unique wines in the large wooden barrels in our cellar.

Lavaux, Courseboux

Lavaux, Vineyards Terraces

The Lavaux landscape is famous for its hectares of glorious vineyards built as terraces and divided by miles of stone walls. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers stunning views on the crystal-clear alpine waters of Geneva Lake. Passionate winegrowers tenaciously cultivate the thousand-year-old vineyards, where the grapes are grown on steep terrain.

In the heart of Villette, at a place named Les Courseboux, small terraces enjoy the extraordinary sunlight. Facing the lake and sheltered from the wind, the imposing walls store the heat of the sun during the day and release it during the night. The traditional Chasselas cohabits with new grape varieties, and all flourish in the particularly favourable conditions.
